Yesterday was the first real Christmas event of the season. Sally, Annemarie and I went to a Christmas craft fair at the Harrogate Show Ground. Needing little excuse to wear a bit of sparkle, I wore an embellished top and another of the new bracelets from my boutique.
The top in the most beautiful blush shade is adorned with bugle beads, sequins and pearly beads in muted tones and I think it is perfect for the start of the party season.
As the goosebumps and windswept hair will attest, it was bitterly cold, damp and windy but my faux fur jacket always makes me feel warm and cosy.
My little Italian leather clutch bag is from Grace & Valour, a lovely website selling a gorgeous array of gifts and jewellery. It comes in a wide choice of colours and I love my dove grey one.
As much as we loved looking at the Christmas crafts, we spent more time in the food and drink aisle than anywhere else sampling numerous cheeses, wines and several flavours of cider.
We were particularly impressed with these very realistic looking chocolate tools.
And if I were 35 years younger, I'd have bought this bag in a heartbeat.
Love Liz x
