Outfit Post: Green Floral Dress, Tweed Jacket and Brogues.

I wore this dress two weeks ago during my birthday weekend and teamed it with heels for a smart daytime look. I would love to wear dresses and heels all of the time, but of course, the practical requirements of day to day life preclude that. So, I combined my love of brogues with my love of dresses and wore this outfit yesterday for coffee with my friend Barbara, the usual household chores and food shop, and a business meeting (umm tea, gossip and a bit about scarves) with my friend and partner Sally. It seems a shame to save things for best.

It was relatively mild so I just added my jersey tweed jacket which has proved to be such a worthwhile investment.

The necklace was a birthday gift from my friend Sandra.
