Outfit: Accessorising with a Metal Heart Pendant and Lots of Layers

I'm still very excited about the new accessories Sally and I have added to the boutique. I have, ahem, "acquired" one of the heart pendants and wore it yesterday. Perk of the job. 

My outfit was chosen for *whispers* comfort and practicality. It was a day of washing, ironing, blogging/writing and watching my son play football. But still, I like to accessorise and I think this pendant adds just enough. I think these side by side photos demonstrate that. I have great plans for this pendant later in the week with a dressier outfit too.

My wedge trainers are several seasons old. I love them but they're not the warmest of footwear for standing pitch side in temperatures barely above zero. So I changed into a heavier boot and added layers, a hat, a scarf and gloves. And was still freezing.  But they won convincingly, so at least we were happy and freezing.
