Valentine's Outfit: Feminine Florals

Happy Valentine's Day! 

I do hope Cupid has been kind to you.

I went out for a lovely meal last night. It was a perfect combination of business and pleasure because I was reviewing a local restaurant for an upcoming issue of Aspire Magazine. It was a special taster menu aimed at couples celebrating St Valentine's and it was beautiful. I'll post a full review of it once the article has been published in the magazine in April.

It seemed totally appropriate to wear a spring dress, accessorised with soft pastels and a rather handsome dinner companion.

My dress is a skater style in the most exquisite floral print. Because the weather is still wintry, I wore it with black opaque tights, heeled ankle boots and my velvet jacket.

I went for the ultimate in romantic jewellery adding hearts and flower charms to my Pandora bracelet. Pink opal is my birthstone (October) and my children surprised and overwhelmed me with the ring for my birthday. 

I think the black boots prevent the outfit from looking too cutesie. 

We dined at The Rhubarb restaurant, Herriots, here in Skipton.

Every course was delicious. The service was faultless. Just perfect.
